How to Install

The following document gives you step by step of how to install the Joomla Extension.

Installing the Package.

  • Download the Package from the following URL. <link to downloads sections>
  • Install from the Administrative Panel.

How to Enable the Avatar Builder on the Registration Form.

The Avatar Builder can be enabled on the Registration Form, such that the users who register can create and choose their own avatar at the time the register.

And example can be seen from the following URL. <link to example>

  • Step 1: Login into Joomla Administration.

  • Step 2: Go to “Components > Extension Manager > Plugin Manager”

  • Step 3: Search and Enable a Plugin called “avatar_profile_form”

  • Step 4: On the the plugin setting you will find the options though which

    you can enable and disable the Avatar Builder for the Registration Page. The following screen-shot shows the steps on which you can see these settings.

How to enable the Avatar Builder on the Content Page.

  • Step 1: Login into Joomla Administration.

  • Step 2: Go to “Components > Extension Manager > Plugin Manager”

  • Step 3: Search and Enable a Plugin called “avatar_content_plugin”

  • Step 4: Once you have enabled the plugin then you can add the following short code to display

    an Image.

    Syntax: {avatartechno_userId_thumWidth_thumHeight}

    Example

    {avatartechno_35_60_60}
    

    The above example will show an Avatar of the user whose ID is 35 with height 60px and width 60px.

    First Number - User ID.

    Second Number - Width in px.

    Second Number - Height in px.
